Musical icon, Joni Mitchell is currently receiving treatment at a Los Angeles hospital after the paramedic received a 911 call from her home on March 31.The 71-year-old singer and song writer, synonymous with the Woodstock generation, was rushed to the hospital about 2:30PM on Tuesday .According to medical reports, the 911 call was for an unresponsive female even though she was on her way to the medical center.TMZ reports that Mitchell was in intensive care late Tuesday and it is unclear what prompted the medical emergency, but it appears to be quite serious.Mitchell is best known for her hit, 'Big Yellow Taxi' ... which the Counting Crows famously covered in 2002.In 1997,she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
